Henk Koning

Hendrik Elle (Henk) Koning (born 7 June 1933, Beilen) is a Dutch former tax official and politician.

He was from 1958 tax official in 1967 and went into politics as an MP . He was Secretary of the Interior in the Van Agt I cabinet then Minister of Finance in the Lubbers II government .[1] From 1991 to 1999 he was president of the General Court and also had many other positions. He was awarded the Knight of the Order of the Dutch Lion on October 26, 1981 and Grand Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau on 20 November 1989.
